Incentivizing, promoting and diversifying national productions and reducing imports was the objective of the event celebrated during the past April 7th, 8th and 9th in the Varadero´s Plaza America convention center. There, the exhibition and business round turned into a forum for the presentation of new products and services in numerous branches of the economy. ExpoMatanzas 2010 included within its program, diverse theoretical encounters destined to the debate on the entrepreneurial management improvement and instruments and mechanisms for trade and development. The Ministerio de la Informática y las Comunicaciones (MIC), seized this opportunity to launch their calling to the 14th Convention and International Fair Informática 2011. This with the central theme “Converging Technologies: integration and independence” will take place in Havana, from February 7th to 11th next year. Informática 2011 will be a space for interchange among professionals, scientists, entrepreneurs, international organizations interested in researching, promoting and learning about technological advances in Cuba and in the World. It will count, moreover, with a Commercial Fair, based in PABEXPO, which will be the proper space for the province’s enterprises to attend and to exhibit there their innovative projects, products and services. This fair will be organized in six main themes, among there informatics solutions, software, telecommunications, electronics, automation, and medical equipment.
