1. Services, applications and networks Convergence for voice, data and video.
It includes experiences on development, planning, projection, installment and/or exploitation of multiservice applications (triple play, quadruple play), third and fourth generation mobile telephony, Internet 2 technologies and Ipv6 applications, metropolitan networks, applications for mass user’s service, datacenter.
1. Services, applications and networks Convergence for voice, data and video.
It includes experiences on development, planning, projection, installment and/or exploitation of multiservice applications (triple play, quadruple play), third and fourth generation mobile telephony, Internet 2 technologies and Ipv6 applications, metropolitan networks, applications for mass user’s service, datacenter.
2. Wire and wireless Telecommunications Networks.
It includes research, development, exploitation and/or innovation in order to increase efficiency and use in:
a) Broadband access optical fiber radio networks (GSM, WIMAX, LTE, WIFI, BLUETOOTH) on copper cable (xDSL), satellite and Power Line Communications (PLC).
b) Telephony and/or data switchers
3. Radio transmitters and/or radio receivers systems.
It covers digital terrestrial TV, digital trunked radio communication, broadcasting systems, RFID and radar.
a) Frameworks and technologies of towers and antennas systems
b) Control and management of elements or full networks.
4. Telecommunications’ standards and regulations.
It includes the main regulations and standards of current telecommunications, being studied or in process of approval by national and international organizations, the algorithms, techniques and protocols that guarantee the security increase in information transmission over IP networks with reasonable efficiency and reliability.
5. The open source in telecommunications.
It consists of applications for the development and/or exploitation of networks and services based on open source.
