Topics
Although papers may be presented on any theme related to Automation, the 10th Automation Event proposes the following main thematic lines:
1.  Instrumentation and Control of Industrial processes: Papers may be presented related to Instrumentation and Control of Industrial processes, communication networks and protocols, technologies related to the sector and manufacturing systems.

2.  Control Theory and Engineering: Papers may be presented related to the control theory and engineering, from any kind of approach (classic, modern, advanced). There is a special interest in papers related to predictive and adaptive control, optimum control, robust control, fractional control, non-linear control, digital control, diagnosis systems, and failure detection and stability of control systems.

3.  Artificial intelligence applied to Automation: Papers may be presented related to the development and /or applications of solutions in the area of automatic control using diverse techniques of artificial intelligence. There is special interest in papers related to neuronal networks, diffuse logic, evolutionist algorithms and intelligent agents.    

4.  Industrial Informatics: Papers may be presented on the profile of Industrial Informatics. There is special interest in papers related to SCADAs systems, real time control systems, built-in control, diagnosis and failure detection systems with software and domotics (home automation) support.

5.  Identification, modeling and simulation: Papers may be presented related to systems identification, modeling and simulation.  

6.  Robotics: Papers may be presented related to the area of robotics in general. There is special interest in papers related to the planning and trajectory generation of robotic manipulators and mobile robots, control, design, production and applications in this area.
