On the occasion of the March 2013 celebration of the fifteenth edition of the Informática Convention and Fair, took place on February 2, 2012, the first meeting of the current year, with the participation of the expanded Organizing Committee of the event, which was formed in December last year. The meeting's objective was to check compliance with the plan of activities for December and January. The program of activities planned for this month was also presented.

The meeting was also the occasion for Msc. Odalys López Pérez, Head of the Communication and Promotion Commission of the event to submit the new image that will accompany the next year's important event dedicated to highlighting the Informática fifteenth birthday. "15 Editions Thinking the Future" is the motto that will preside over the new appointment of the event to be held at the Havana's Palacio de Convenciones; this time with the addition of a special secondary venue in the city of Santiago de Cuba.

Moreover, the Executive President, Dr. Jorge Luis Perdomo Di- Lella and the Executive Secretary General, MSc. Marisela Font Rodriguez verified the work done so far by each of the heads of events participating in the prestigious event.

The meeting also allowed to take some agreements to improve the organization and quality of Informática 2013. The edition will be officially presented to the various public sectors in Cuba in March this year.
