From 18 to 22 March 2013, Havana will host the 15th edition of the International Convention and Fair Informática 2013, which will be held at the Palacio de Convenciones in Havana and at the PABEXPO fairgrounds.
In this framework we will celebrate the 9th International Congress on Informatics for Health.
"ICT for Health, a reality today, a chance for the future" is the central theme that will occupy us in our Informática meeting in Havana, where participants will participate in scientific and technological discussions, exhibition of projects and initiatives about the main topics of the Convention.
For the first time,  a specific theme will be present on  Nursing and Informatics. On this occassion a special call will be opened for computer science applications in health, taking into account the important role nursing plays in health processes and the development of computer sciences applications on this field.
Informatics for Health 2013 will be an ideal forum for the exchange among professionals, scientists, engineers, businessmen, government representatives, international organizations and the general public interested in researching, promoting, analyzing and learning about the progress in information technologies, telecommunications, electronics, medical equipment and automation in the health sector,  in Cuba and the world.
