Dra. Ana María García Pérez

Degree in Mathematical Cybernetics from the Central University of Las Villas Cuba (UCLV) (1982). Doctor of Technical Sciences in the specialty of Computing (1997). Full Professor (2000). Research on the themes of databases, business process modeling, project management and software quality. He is a member of the Academic Committee of the Master in Computer Science of the Central University of Las Villas and of the Academic Committee of the Master in Project Management of the University of Computer Science (UCI) of Havana.
He has developed management positions as head of department and Vice-Dean of Research at the UCLV. Member of the Scientific Council of the UCI, the Faculty of MFC in the UCLV and the Faculty of Mathematics and Computation of the University of Havana.
He was head of the UCLV Computer Science career for 15 years.
She has been a guest professor to teach pre and postgraduate studies in several Latin American universities, including: the EAFIT University of Medellín Colombia, the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) of Lima, Peru, the University of Antioquia of Medellín, Colombia on 3 occasions, the University of Guadalajara, Mexico, the University Center of the Ciénega de Ocotlán, Jalisco, Mexico, the Catholic University of Santa María de Arequipa, Peru and the University of Managua in Nicaragua.
He directed the Scientific Group of Programming and Engineering of Software of the Center of Studies of Informatics in the University of Las Villas from 2000 to 2008.
He was project manager at the UCI Mission in Venezuela from 2006 to 2008.
She has acted as a reviewer for the international event IDEAS 2002 as well as two foreign journals: the Faculty of Engineering Magazine of the University of Antioquia, Colombia, and the Chilean "Engineering" Magazine. Reviewer of the Cuban Journal of Information in Health Sciences.
He was Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the III Workshop on Quality in Information and Communication Technologies of the 2007 Computer Convention and of the Scientific Committee of the National PostgreSQL Event organized by the training direction of the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications of Cuba in 2011. Member of the CC of the IV Workshop “ICT in the management of organizations” of Computing 2016.
It belongs to the Editors Committee of the Cuban Journal of Computer Science (RCCI). She belonged to CTN 18 of the Cuban National Standardization Office for Cuban Software Standards, participating as co-author of 4 NC ISO Cuban Standards already registered.
He directed the Software Development Center of the UCI in the province of Villa Clara in the period 2009-2012.
