During the ceremony, attended also by General of Brigade Medardo Díaz Toledo, Minister of Informatics and Communications of Cuba, as well as Ph. D. Hamadoun Touré, Secretary General of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) , it was highlighted  that 101 companies are represented (30 national and 71 foreign).   A special mention for big delegations from China and Venezuela, technologic and strategic  Allies of the country in the areas of telecommunications.

By saying the opening speech, Mr. Eviel Ramos Pérez, executive secretary of the Tradeshow, defined the exhibition area “ Panorama of  Informatics and Communications Technologies in Cuba as one of the main attractions of the exhibitions with 23 projects of research, development and innovation which are specially significant for the country,

He also pointed out the importance of the II Business Forum, attended by over 40 companies from 15 countries.
