This conference presents an unprecedented scenario in the journalistic discourse: the transformation towards a new cycle in the history of the media. We are referring, specifically, to the miniaturization of the informative text, a trend that condenses information into short and concise formats, adapted to an audience looking for fast and easy-to-digest data.

This process of change is profoundly affected in our time by the emergence of the artificial intelligence. AI provides multiple not only creative options, but also diversifies the very craft of writing and constructing texts, in an era of accelerated transformation.

Miniaturization, therefore, is consolidated as one more model in this process of historical changes. Until now, the journalistic text has tended to be explanatory, expository and with a dimension that made it possible to expose the referents widely. It is in this century that such patterns have radically changed. The current challenge and innovation is to achieve that, without losing the essence of the background, new models of discourse emerge that reduce their length without changing its attributes and informational value in journalism.
