Digital Economy under discussion in Cuba!

The 1st International Symposium on Digital Economy will be held as part of the 20th International Convention and Fair Informática 2026 at the Havana Conference Center, from March 24 to 27.

It will be a crucial space for critical debate on the transformative impact of digital technologies on our economic models.

This event will bring together academics, entrepreneurs, and government leaders to examine how Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Big Data, and other emerging technologies are redefining industries, financial markets, and labor dynamics globally.

Core thematic lines we will address:

1. Business Digital Transformation: ERP, E-commerce, and process optimization for MSMEs.
2. Platform Economy: Business models, impact on the digital GDP, and job creation.
3. Disruptive Technologies: Blockchain, IoT, and Cloud Computing as foundations of the new economy.
4. Regulatory Challenges: Balancing innovation, data protection, taxation, and public policies for sustainable growth.

It is a unique opportunity to learn about global trends, success stories, and the challenges we face, with special attention to the realities of Latin America.

Important dates:    

🔵Presentation of papers: November 14, 2025. 
🔴Notification of acceptance: December 5, 2025.  
🟢Final work submission for publication: January 09, 2026.
