WHO ARE WE?

Since its first edition in 1988, the International Convention and Fair Informática of Havana has established itself as the most important technological event in Cuba. Born under the auspices of the National Institute of Automated Systems and Computing Techniques (INSAC) and with the initial support of the Intergovernmental Bureau of Informatics (IBI), our convention has since its inception brought together more than 900 delegates from 30 countries, including government authorities, ministers and representatives of international organisations.
Throughout 19 biannual editions, held at the Havana Conventions Centre and PABEXPO, we have enjoyed the support of prestigious organisations such as UNESCO, ITU, UNDP and ALADI, making us a regional benchmark for scientific and technical exchange in areas such as medical informatics, microelectronics, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
Today, as the highest technological forum in Cuba, we continue our trajectory under the organization of the Ministry of Communications (MINCOM) and the Union of Computer Scientists of Cuba (UIC), in alliance with national and international institutions. Our mission is to promote digital innovation through the exhibition of advanced technological solutions, specialized debate and the generation of business opportunities.
Each edition brings together experts, companies, academics and entrepreneurs to analyze global trends and contribute to the development of the Cuban ICT industry, always with a focus on technological sovereignty and the digital transformation of society.
