Contest "Panorama of ICT in Cuba"

Objectives of the contest
Showcasing projects linked to the different areas of ICTs, which have been conceived and developed in the country as part of a national or branch solution, and which, due to their quality and novelty, are worthy representatives of the development achieved and deserve to be represented at the Stand Cuba.
When selecting projects, it will be taken into account that, among other aspects, they meet one or more of the characteristics mentioned below: 
     1.    They must be innovative projects or solutions.
     2.    A contribution with a development of their own and national integration, making it possible to continue advancing on the road to technological sovereignty.
     3.    They must be products, services, integrated solutions or applications with a relevant contribution to the economic development of the country and to the quality of life of the population.
     4.    They must be a contribution to the country's strategic objectives of import substitution and export generation.

For the selection of the projects the jury will consider, among others, the following aspects:
     •    Quality and rigor in the documentation delivered
     •    Economic and social impact evidenced in the guarantees presented
     •    Technological elements used in the development of the solution.
     •    Contribution to the substitution of imports and/or exports of the country.
     •    It has not been previously selected for the CUBA STAND . 
     •    Projects that have been separated from others that were selected in other editions (spin off) are considered.

Entities and economic actors in the country that are linked to the development of ICT in the country may participate, regardless of the sector to which they belong.

• 1.    These may be linked to production and services, addressing solutions related to ICT, telecommunications, electronics, robotics, and automation. 
  2.   Its scope shall be national or sectoral, with demonstrated impact. 
  3.   The presentation to the jury will be made in digital format. Project submissions must meet the following requirements:
   -   Digital PDF format, with Arial 12 font, 1.5 spacing.
   -   No more than 8 pages structured as follows:
        •    Title
        •    Main author and his/her details:
             •  First and last names, academic background, entity (If you are an economic actor in the non-state sector, include your identification).
             •  Telephone numbers and email.
       •    Abstract (up to 250 words).
       •    Introduction (one page).
       •    Body (Technological Solution, Economic and Social Impact).
       •    Conclusions (one page).
       •    Annexes (including endorsements) (Not counted within the 8-page submission). If audiovisual materials are included, they must be submitted in person to the Permanent Information Technology Office 2026 at the Ministry of Communications.
  4.    The projects will be delivered via email to the address: informaticahabana@mincom.gob.cu.
  5.    The project may be accompanied by audiovisual material, photos, samples, etc., or have the necessary conditions for their production

The Jury will be made up of the event's Organizing Committee and renowned specialists in ICT activity.

The main incentive to be granted will be the selection and recognition as an exhibitor of the project at the Cuba Stand at the Informática 2026 Fair, with the dissemination and promotion derived from its presence in the national and international context that the event itself provides, all in charge of the Organising Committee of Informática 2026.
Each participant and winner will be given a CERTIFICATE of recognition and will be mentioned in the opening ceremony and awards ceremony of said event.
Your credential will allow you to participate in all scientific events at the convention and fair.
