The main trends in Artificial Intelligence and international development strategies are discussed. The experiences of Cuban initiatives and ventures in the different trends from a sustainable approach are discussed. The fundamental dilemma of AI (Strong AI vs Weak AI) is analyzed with a focus on digital ethics and the necessary literacy of society in these emerging technologies.
