Conference: “Strengthening Knowledge on Science, Innovation and Technology Management in Geomatics, with a focus on knowledge management, artificial intelligence and data science”
As part of the 13th International Congress on Geomatics, in the context of the International Convention and Fair Informática 2024, we will have the Conference: “Strengthening knowledge on Science, Innovation and Technology Management in Geomatics, with a focus on knowledge management, artificial intelligence and data science”, by Dr. C. Nancy Verónica Pérez, from Argentina, president of the Latin American Association of Technology and Innovation Management (ALTEC).
This conference will address the fundamentals in Geomatics, which include geospatial data capture, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing and Global Positioning (GPS/GNSS). It introduces the fundamental principles of data science, including statistics, data manipulation, visualization and analysis techniques. It delves into technology watch in the context of Geomatics as a tool for creating competitive advantage and the effective use of the latest technologies for innovation management and decision making. The conference will address the topics of Artificial Intelligence, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision and other related areas. It will also reflect on the interdisciplinarity of Geomatics, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, as well as the benefits of the application of the three disciplines in geospatial and environmental fields.
The 13th International Congress of Geomatics will focus on presenting the main achievements of Geomatics in Cuba and updating the state of the art of the activity with international trends; promoting scientific exchange between our specialists and experts from Latin America, the Caribbean and other countries with great development in this field.
