Doctor in Information Sciences. Professor and researcher. Vice-president of the Cuban Society of Information Sciences. Head of the Department of Information Sciences at the University of Havana and coordinator of the discipline Organization and Representation of Information and Knowledge, focused on supporting the fulfillment of the goals of the 2030 Agenda, especially those related to full access to information. She manages and participates in multiple training actions with the aim of establishing and improving skills and competencies around the selection, search, processing and analysis, representation, visualization and retrieval of information. Creator and director of the academic research group Digital Humanities and Information Sciences in Cuba (HDCICuba), which links professionals from different fields and students from different courses and levels to participate in multifaceted actions of digital transformation and intervene digitally in the Cuban documentary heritage from the values of participation, collaboration and transparency.
