With more than 30 years in geospatial engineering, he has participated in the Federal Government, the private sector and academia for 28 years. Former president of the 32nd Board of Directors of the Colegio de Ingenieros Topógrafos A.C., author of several technical books in the areas of geospatial engineering, writer in several magazines and publications, national and international lecturer. He has been declared Doctor Honoris Causa on five occasions by several Doctoral Faculties in Mexico and abroad, being elevated to the position of Doctor of Doctors by one of them. He is considered one of the 100 most outstanding and influential people in Mexico in 2019, multi-awarded abroad and in Mexico, Wilfrido Massieu Medal by the IPN and the Mexican Senate, considered outstanding engineer by 20 universities and the CACEI in 2021. Expert of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation in Constitutional Controversies in matters of Geography and Cartography in which recently derived from his work Oaxaca recovered after 8 years 160,000 hectares that were in trial. Forensic expert for the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City, in which his participation helped to determine the causes of the L12 accident. Currently he is a member of several engineering congregations and professional associations, Consultant in the area of geospatial engineering for several government agencies and transnational companies, Editor in Chief of the magazine "Polaris", Technical Director of the company NOUS PROJECTS Mexico, International Vice President of the National Council of Polytechnic Graduates, Member of the Technical Advisory Council of the Pan-American Institute of Geography and History, Member of the Earth Sciences Technical Commission of the Council for Accreditation of Engineering Education, Coordinator of the Civil Protection Commission of the Mexican Union of Engineering Associations.
