Director of the Ibero-American Institute for Sustainable Development (IIDS), Professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Chile. Associate Professor of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction of the Universidad Autónoma de Chile, Temuco, Chile. Academic-Researcher (ADI) of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction of the Universidad Autónoma de Chile. Associate researcher at the Institute of Habitat Studies of the Universidad Autónoma de Chile. His research is focused on Spatial Analysis and Remote Sensing, Ecosystem Services and Climate Change. He has directed several research projects, including: "Ecosystem services in watersheds dominated by Nothofagus dombeyi forests: an analysis for conservation under climate change scenarios in central-southern Chile. FONDECYT INITIATION N°11160650. Professor of several masters and doctoral programs since 2012 to date. Author of dozens of articles, books and monographs in indexed journals and databases. Extensive participation in national and international conferences as speaker and lecturer. Member of the editorial committee 'Sustainability, Agri, Food and Environmental Research' Journal. Member of the social chamber FSC Chile as alternate representative of the Universidad Autónoma de Chile, Temuco. Member of the Regional Biodiversity Committee (COB) and the Regional Climate Change Committee (CORECC) as representative of the Universidad Autónoma de Chile, Temuco.
