She currently works at UNESCO's Regional Office of Culture for Latin America and the Caribbean. She was a professor and researcher at the Faculty of Communication of the University of Havana from 2003 to 2014; She is an official of the Communication and Information Program of the Regional Office of Culture for Latin America and the Caribbean of UNESCO (2015-present). He participated in the design and implementation of study plans for the Social Communication and Journalism majors as a member of the National Career Commission and directed research projects in the fields of institutional, community and educational communication, communication and information for the development, political communication in local spaces and participatory communication in new digital scenarios. She also served as Head of the Department-Career of Social Communication between 2008 and 2009. Since 2015, she has worked as Communication and Information Program Officer of the Regional Office of Culture for Latin America and the Caribbean of UNESCO.
