Computer training and digital citizenship: a look at digital transformation in the educational context
Abstract:
At present, different national and international organizations are promoting the intensification of actions to consolidate a digital transformation, a goal assumed by the governments of different countries, including Cuba. This constitutes a challenge in the personal and professional sphere, which must respond to the demands of scientific-technical development and the demands of social development. Some considerations will be offered on the relationship between computer training and digital citizenship, which favors active, critical and ethical participation, in order to contribute to the digital transformation that is aspired in a sustained and sustainable way; in particular the role of educational institutions and the education professional.
