The technology of operational ecological and functional diagnostics of the state of coniferous forests based on the data of a specialized unmanned aerial system
Abstract:
The article discusses the results of the ongoing scientific work on the development of an existing system for remote monitoring of forest ecosystems, operational diagnostics and forecasting of their ecological and functional state, which allows, based on the data of multispectral and hyperspectral aerial photography from an unmanned aerial vehicle in various spectral ranges, to process the footage in order to effectively maintain forestry farms in a changing climate, early diagnosis of the spread of diseases and pests of trees. The unmanned aerial system used for operational ecological and functional diagnostics of the state of coniferous forests and ecosystems is based on the latest methods of remote spectrozonal imaging. It includes an onboard set of equipment for recording images from aircraft carriers and a stationary set of equipment for thematic data processing. Aviation control methods make it possible to carry out early diagnostics of forest pathology, identify centers of mass damage to forest plantations by pests, diseases, etc., and increase the efficiency and quality of forest inventory work.
