Conference: Artificial intelligence, an essential challenge

As part of the 13th International Congress on Geomatics, in the context of the International Convention and Fair Informática 2024, we will have the Conference: Artificial intelligence, an essential challenge, by Dr. Sc. Yailé Caballero Mota, Cuba.

The effective deployment of artificial intelligence is essential to face and take advantage of the country’s necessary digital transformation. It is a booming technology, characterized by a great transforming potential from a technological, economic, environmental and social point of view given its possible insertion in all sectors, as well as its high impact capacity, rapid growth and contribution to the improvement of competitiveness. This conference will address the necessary elements that demonstrate that artificial intelligence is an essential challenge for society. In addition, the main ideas about the current state of artificial intelligence in Cuba will be outlined.

The 13th International Congress of Geomatics will focus on presenting the main achievements of Geomatics in Cuba and updating the state of the art of the activity with international trends; promoting scientific exchange between our specialists and experts from Latin America, the Caribbean and other countries with great development in this field. It will also serve to strengthen our relations with prestigious international organizations, universities and companies, all leaders in the field of Geomatics, to discuss experiences, improve our processes, increase efficiency and promote business opportunities.
