Cuban banking at #Informática2024

The banking system is present at the 19th International Fair Informática 2024 to promote its services based on digitalization.Tania Fitó Hernández, president of Banco Popular de Ahorro (BPA), said in statements to the press that the provision of services through all electronic payment channels is the present and the future of the strategy we have as a banking system in Cuba.

The president of BPA considered that the presence of the banking sector in the event represents a strength, since it allows to show the strategies to digitize operations and provide facilities to customers based on bankarization.

She said that this process, in which #Cuba is involved, speeds up transactions, modernizes operations and improves conditions to meet all the demands of users.

For Juana Lilia Delgado Portal, minister-president of the Central Bank of Cuba, the presence of the banks of the largest of the Antilles in Informática 2024 is evidence of the willingness of the country to computerize these services.
