Last day of the Fair #Informática2024 at Pabexpo

Joel Queipo Ruiz, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, toured this Friday the International Fair Informática 2024, accompanied by Mayra Arevich Marín, Minister of Communications, at the Pabexpo fairgrounds.

At the Cuba stand he learned about the CubaGob Platform dedicated to e-government where citizens can access different services within Internet governance.

He also visited the Defense Information Technology Company (Xetid) and the Applications, Technology and Systems Development entity (Datys), among other stands at the event, which concludes this Friday.

During the event, the Havana Science and Technology Park (PCT) showed its evolution according to the socioeconomic context and its portfolio of opportunities, where it is inserted with the new actors of the economy in the attention to more than 300 clients.

Rafael Luis Torralbas Ezpeleta, President of this scientific center, said that they maintain close relations with micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME), which they represent commercially, something that generates a great deal of confidence in their clients.

The Master of Science announced that, as part of the bilateral exchange with other international scientific institutions, this Friday the business director of the Park signed agreements with a counterpart in Brazil, on the occasion of her participation in an event of the Latin American division taking place in Brazil.

In Rio Grande, on the premises of the Brazilian Pontifical Catholic University, is located this Park with more than 20 years of experience and a huge development according to the expert and undoubtedly this agreement will undoubtedly bring benefits in terms of exchange of knowledge and tools for development.

Xetid brought to the Fair the innovative ACX proposal consisting of issuing and managing digital certificates, secure and reliable, and IT solutions in areas such as security, communications, e-commerce and business intelligence, among others.
